The Woodend Health Centre was formed about 40 years ago. The first doctors practiced from a house in Lillington Road before moving to Hillmorton Road. In 2002 we moved to our present location.

Practice Philosophy

All the staff working in our practice are committed to enabling you to enjoy the best possible health. This involves us making ourselves as available to you. Offering flexible surgery times, providing the best care and medicines within the resources available, and keeping you involved and informed at all stages of your care.  

We pride ourselves in providing ‘traditional and personal’ family medical care as we believe that this is what our patients want. We do this by trying only to use locum doctors when absolutely necessary. This way we get to know you and you us. 

We believe that the patient is the most important person – without you we would not have a job!
